
SPICY YOGURT CHICKEN WITH CUCUMBER MINT CHUTNEY

This Simple Grilled Spicy Yogurt Chicken Recipe has a few ingredients in the marinade that makes it juicy, flavorful and absolutely delicious. It’s the best grilled chicken I’ve made. You’ll make this recipe again and again!

What you need

lemon

tsp cane sugar
garlic

tsp cumin seed
dried chili
bunch mint

cucumber
tbsp vegetable oil
tsp salt

tsp ground turmeric

tbsp ginger paste

tbsp chickpea flour

tsp garam masala

tsp white pepper

tsp chili powder

cup low fat greek yogurt

skinless boneless chicken breast
Instructions
Clean the chicken and cut it into 2 inch cubes and dry it very well and add it to a large bowl. Add yogurt, chili powder, white pepper, garam masala, ginger garlic paste, chickpea flour,, oil and turmeric powder and salt. Massage everything very well with your hands. This process of massaging it for couple of minutes with ensure that you are breaking the protien up and making the chicken more juicy after it's baked. Cover the bowl and marinate it for at least 6 hours or overnight. When you are ready to grill or bake, skewer it tightly. Put it on a hot grill which is at about 450 degrees and grill it for about 2 minutes on each side and close and cook for 10 minutes. Once it is cooked, hit it with a squeeze of lemon juice and serve it as is or you can serve it with naan and rice. Alternatively, In the oven, you will have to bake it at 450 degrees for about 20 minutes. Serve with onion, green chutney and a generous drizzle of lemon juice.
