What you need

jalapeno

yellow onion

cinnamon stick

cardamom

tbsp fennel seed

red bell pepper

ginger root

clove garlic

cup coconut cream

cup basmati rice
Instructions
In 3 tbsp oil, add 2 bay leaf, 3 cloves, cashew and peanuts. Add chopped onion, 2 green chilies, 3 large tomatoes. Then add the paste and fry very well. Add 1 cup washed and soaked rice and add 2 cups water and cover cook, bring it to and boil, cover and lower the flame, cook for 20 min. Enjoy with raita. TIPS: Add peas if you prefer. Remember to cook the masala down really well before adding the rice. Soak rice atleast for 20-30 min. Use Sona masoori or jeeraga samba rice. You can make it in a cooker too.View original recipe
